What is GreenCare & SnowCare for Troops?
GreenCare for Troops and SnowCare for Troops are nationwide initiatives that connect professional lawn and snow removal companies with the families of deployed military personnel. Through these programs, volunteers help maintain lawns and clear driveways during challenging times—ensuring that service members and their loved ones have one less thing to worry about while they’re apart.
A Message from Our Owner
"I am extremely proud to announce that Outdoor Independence LLC has been selected as a contractor for Project EverGreen, an organization dedicated to providing lawn care and snow removal services for our military families and veterans. This is an exciting opportunity for us to give back to those who have given so much to protect and serve our country.
As a U.S. Army veteran and a current volunteer firefighter for the Town of Neenah, I’ve always believed in the power of community and the importance of supporting those who serve. When I first learned about Project EverGreen’s mission to provide essential services like lawn care and snow removal to military families, I knew right away that we wanted to be a part of it. These services may seem small, but for our troops and their families, having a well-maintained home environment can make a big difference in their daily lives, especially when they're dealing with the challenges of military life.
At Outdoor Independence LLC, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact in our community, and this partnership allows us to do that in a meaningful way.
